Terms & Conditions
We want Highbury Hotshots to be a fun, friendly and straightforward club for everyone. These terms are simply here so that parents and carers know how our sessions and payments work.
Fees & Booking
Fees are payable half-termly in advance.
New players are welcome to attend an initial taster session before committing. After the taster session, attending a further session confirms your place for the remainder of that half term and means that the full half-term fee is payable.
Places are booked for the whole half term rather than on a session-by-session basis.
Missed Sessions
Unfortunately, we are unable to offer refunds or credits where a player misses a session due to illness, holidays, school commitments or other personal circumstances.
Weather & Cancellations
Netball is an outdoor sport and sessions will generally go ahead in the rain, so please make sure players come dressed appropriately for the weather.
The safety and wellbeing of our players and coaches will always come first. In the event of severe or unsafe weather conditions, such as thunderstorms, ice or extreme conditions, we may need to cancel a session.
Where Highbury Hotshots cancels a session because of severe weather, parents/carers will receive a 50% refund of the fee attributable to that cancelled session.
If Highbury Hotshots has to cancel a session for a non-weather-related reason, such as coach illness or the courts becoming unexpectedly unavailable, we will either arrange a replacement session or provide a full refund or credit for the cancelled session.
We will always try to give as much notice as reasonably possible if a session needs to be cancelled.
Behaviour
Highbury Hotshots is a friendly and inclusive club and we expect players to treat coaches, other players and everyone using our facilities with respect.
We reserve the right to speak to a parent/carer if a player's behaviour is repeatedly disruptive, unsafe or significantly affects the enjoyment of other players.
Health, Injuries & Medical Information
Parents/carers are responsible for letting us know about any medical condition, injury, allergy or other information that may be relevant to their child's safe participation in sessions.
If a player becomes injured or unwell during a session, our coaches will provide appropriate assistance and contact the parent/carer where necessary.
Photography & Video
From time to time, photographs or short videos may be taken during Highbury Hotshots activities for club communications, our website or social media.
We will respect the photography/video permissions provided by parents and carers and will not knowingly use images of a child where permission has not been given.
Leaving Highbury Hotshots
If your child decides not to continue with Highbury Hotshots, please let us know as soon as possible.
Fees already paid for the current half term are normally non-refundable, as your child's place has been reserved for that period.
Contact Us
If you have any questions about these terms, or there are circumstances you would like to discuss with us, please get in touch. We will always try to be reasonable and deal with individual circumstances fairly.
